July 1, 09 With a heavy heart we left our month long home at the Harbor Campground in 3 Lakes WI. We met many nice folks, and have fond memories. Thanks to all our new friends, whom we left behind as we continued on with our "great adventure". We drive north today into Michigan via Land-O-Lakes WI. It was an easy 64 mile drive, most of it through the Ottawa National Forest. We arrived at our reserved Alpine Campground on Hwy 2. We are happy to have a full hookup site with cable TV for the half price of $19.25 per day for the next 2 days (thanks to our Camp Club USA membership) . It would have been $3.50 cheaper per day if it weren't for the Heater/AC surcharge fee they tacked on. The park is small, about 30 sites for RV's or 5th wheels another 40 sites for tents. Mom and Pap type park. Good internet signal in addition to good phone signal, so we are happy.
