Boynton Canyon Vortex in Sedona, AZ.

10/20/09

We are on our way to visit Sedona, which is just 15 miles north of our front yard. Today is a beautiful day with lots of clouds. Temperature high of 66 degrees today. I just read on the Internet that Sedona is one of the top 6 most beautiful small towns in America. Sedona at the bottom of the hill. People climbing on the Boynton Canyon Vortex. We took a short hike on the Boynton Canyon Trail to visit the Boynton Canyon Vortex. Dogs were allowed on the trail, so we brought Mallery. She really enjoyed the walk. Joe standing in front of the Boynton Canyon Vortex and the many rock monuments and art built by previous visitors. I climbed up the Vortex part way and sat to take this picture and to absorb the energy from it. Hey Joe, Smile :) Sedona has 4 main vortexes in the area. This vortex is suppose to have a balanced energy. Neither Joe or I could feel the energy. The energy is suppose to be coming from the earth and is produced from the different kinds of rock formation underneath, like a magnet. Another picture from another point on the vortex. Rain out in the distance. As we started back down the trail, I spotted this heart cactus, probably from all the good & balanced energy. Look at the size of this cactus and the red ground.
