Huntington Beach/ Newport Beach Part I

4/6/2010

We returned today to see more of the coastline below L.A. I have heard about Laguna Beach and Huntington Beach so we wanted to check these areas out. The hectic drive on the Interstate from Lake Elsinore, our quiet, inexpensive inland location, back to the coast.Snow capped mountains in the distance. Who says it doesn't snow in California? The boardwalk in Huntington beach. You can park your RV in this parking lot with water and electric, (No sewer for $60 per night). Nice pier. Beautiful hotel with nice green landscaping. Another shot of another area of the boardwalk.

Newport Beach

We really like this area of the coast. Very similar to San Diego. Beautiful harbors. Nice car buddy, want to race to the mall? Loser buys a latte at Starbucks. Diane really likes these hand trimmed bushes of animals. A view of the ocean and beach from the street level above. Nice house overlooking the beach. Look Diane, I think those are dolphins! These are a different kind of dolphins with Easter baskets, and Easter eggs!

Heading down Hwy #1 along the ocean to Laguna Beach Nice home on the edge of a cliff above the ocean.
