Moody Beach Campground, Moody, ME.

We left LL Bean in Freeport and the Midcoast region of Maine. We headed further south down the coast.

This is where we stayed for two weeks, which flew by way too fast. Moody Beach Campground is located in the town of Moody, ME., in the Beaches region of Maine The campground is a " Outdoor World", and " Thousand Trails", campground. We had purchased a NE region year pass for $500.00 for Thousand Trails Campgrounds. There are certain rules, such as you can not stay longer than two weeks, and when you leave one, you can not return to another Thousand Trails Campground for a week. Joe figured that our stay at this campground was free for two weeks. He figured our stays at the other Thousand Trails Campgrounds averaged at $12 a day. Even though we save money, we would not do it again, as it dictated our time and stopping locations too much.

This is the store/register building.

Swimming pool area. A rec room is adjacent to the pool.

The campground has 203 sites and was pretty much full the day we came in on the Labor day weekend.

We chose site 186. It took Joe a fair amount of time setting up the Direct TV satalite dish because of all the trees. The sites are set up so the RVs park every other direction. Our neighbors on our door side was a far distance, but our neighbor on the drivers side, was right on top of us. Our awnings practically touched theirs. We were glad the evenings were cool, so we could close our windows at night, so we didn't have to listen to their TV and they didn't have to listen to ours.
We arrived in Medford, Massachusetts, (suburb of Boston) yesterday. We will be here for a week parked next to Joe's sister's home. I will continue to blog our last two weeks in Maine.
