Second Day Heading South & More on Our Cedar Rapids Stay.

We got an earlier start this morning and took I 64 through St. Louis, MO.

It was 11:00AM when we went through downtown St. Louis, and the traffic was very mild.

It was still a cold day , but no rain, and plenty of sun.

After St. Louis, we drove across the lower section of Illinois, into Indiana, and then into Kentucky.

As we crossed into Tennessee, our motor home hit a bump and it blurred the picture. But you can see the outline of the state, to prove we made it into our fifth state in one day. We drove 324 miles today and are staying at Clarksville Wall-Mart Supercenter. This is a good stop, because it is less than a mile off the interstate.

Our first week in Cedar Rapids, Joe and I stay in our Nest out side of my mom's condo. ( I forgot to take a picture of us out front the condo, so this is a picture of it the previous fall). She moved out of her condo five months prior, and she has been trying to sell it with a real estate company with no success. So as long as she still owned it, we figured we might as well park outside it. The first week in Cedar Rapids was filled with numerous, doctor, vet, and dentist appointments.

The second week, Joe took our Nest out to his friend Drew's place.

Drew has a place just outside of Cedar Rapids on 40 acres.

Mallery stayed with Joe, because mom's new apartment doesn't allow dogs. Mallery loved it out at Drew's because there was lots of room to run and lots of soft green grass.

Every day Joe would take Mallery out morning and evening for a walk around the large pond.

Thanks Drew for letting us store our Nest out at your place for three weeks!

Another picture of mom's new apartments from the back side. There is a nice screened in porch on the back side for the residence use.
