Kampvilla RV Park, Bear Lake, MI.

                     Wednesday 9/18/2013

After 4 nights at Indigo Bluffs Resort in Empire, MI., it was time to move on. We had a few sprinkles and clouds, on the way down the road. God had Blessed us with beautiful clear days for our day trips in Empire, so we were glad he held off the cloudy, and cooler day for our drive, and the up coming week.
Our drive was a whopping 27 miles south on Hwy. 31 to Kampvilla RV Park. If you are coming from the north like we were, turn right before the big yellow dinosaur.

If you are coming from the south, turn left after the big yellow dinosaur.

Office at Kampvilla RV Park.
The owners of this park are very friendly and nice.
This park is very well maintained. We stayed at this park for a week for $17 a day with full hook ups, with our Passport America membership. For the first 5 days, I did probably 20 loads of laundry. (When you have a washer/dryer combined machine, you can only do very small loads, like 1 sheet with 1 pillow case, or 2 large towels, with 2 hand towels. You get the picture)! We came to this park to just chill, and to do some much needed other chores.

The park was pretty much empty, except for a row of seasonal RV's, to the back of our Nest. Since it was Monday, most of the seasonal RVers were gone, and didn't show up until the weekend.

View of the park to the left of us. You can see the Club House in the distance. The pool is in front of the Club House.

View of the park to the right of us.

In front of us is a really nice play ground. This park has a ton of family oriented scheduled activities throughout the summer

A few days after we arrived, a couple other travelers moved in next to us. You can see our Nest on the other side of the two RV's.
After another day, our old Southwind moved in next door.We met the owners and found out it was a year newer than our 1999 Southwind. It also was 4 feet shorter than our old bus. This is a very nice park, and I recommend it to anyone that is looking for a nice park to stay at.
