Second Round With Bellaire Realtor

After seeing all the waterfront properties in the Boyne City area, we decided to go back to the Bellaire area and see what was available as waterfront goes. When we looked at property here before, we looked at more water view properties. This property is located on the west side of Intermediate Lake.

The property had a extra lot with a very large pole building on it. 

This home had a covered breezeway on the backside off the garage with lots of storage.

The house had 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 2 car garage, pole building, and 1,200 sq ft. The asking price for this property is $299,000.

It had a very nice green grass back yard that Mallery would love!

It also had a section between the house and the pole building which was a right away for the homes not on the lake to get to a shared dock on the lake.

There was a nice area behind the pole building for my garden. Why couldn't this house be on one of the lakes we want to live on. But if it was, it would be at least $450,000 or more anyway.

Our next stop was just north up shore on Intermediate Lake a few miles.

This property had a 2 car garage, and next this cottage.

In front of the cottage was the main house. Total sq ft. is 1,320, at a price of $239,000. Unfortunately the main house only had 1 bedroom. The cottage had 2 bedrooms.  This would not work when our grand kids came to stay with Nana & Papa.

Next we saw this log cabin house on the same side of Intermediate Lake.

This house has 3 bedrooms, 3 baths, and a 2 car garage, with a finished room above the garage, with a total sq feet of 2,674.

This house had very large logs walls. Much larger than most logs used in log cabins.

At the back of the house it had a second floor full length back porch.

I normally don't like log cabins, but this one was very impressive.

Look at the size of the logs between the rooms, especially the lower ones closer to the floor.

It had great views from the deck and porch in the back. Unfortunately this house is asking $ 549,000 which is too much for this lake we think.

Next we went to the east side of Intermediate Lake to see this house. As you can see it has a 2 car garage.

It has a very impressive deck between the garage and the house,

and a very large deck on the back of the house, facing the lake.

Unfortunately the house sat on a very wooded lot. Not a very good situation for Mallery to enjoy rolling in grass or a garden for me.

Views of the house from the dock. I also believe the lake bottom looked like muck to me.The realtor tells us that after you walk around enough on the lake bottom, it packs it down.

Our realtor told us you can cut down trees, but you have to leave the tree stumps.

I did love the house though. It is a 3 bedroom, (and a office that could also be made into a bedroom) and 2 1/2 bathroom house.

This was another house that was neat as a pin and very well taken care of and maintained. The type of people you want to buy from!

Total sq ft of this house was 2,198.

It was a very rainy day, so you can not appreciate the great views it has from the family room. The house is priced at $449,000, but because of the wooded lot, it just was not for us. (But we loved the house, because it had a very well planned out floor plan. Darn)

That evening we were blessed with an awesome sunset.

We are so blessed to be here for the summer.
