Frisco Woods Campground, Hatteras Island Sunset 5/16/2011

As Joe and I were setting up at Frisco Woods Campground, the clouds were rolling in, but the sound was so still and peaceful.

After a small shower a kayak goes by on the peaceful sound.

Looking to the far right of our waterfront sites in the park.

I walked over a little to the right to get a picture of our spot in the park. The people next to us are from Netherlands. They are touring the USA for 6 months, in their RV that was shipped over here to Baltimore.

We enjoyed a sunset from our living room window.

Joe tried to watch the news and sunset at the same time, which was difficult, as the sun glare was very strong.

We really liked this campground and this site, if you can get it at the discount price from Camp Club as we did.

But we still didn't have cell phone service. If we had Verizon, I'm sure we would, but we have T-Mobile. We would switch, but to get what we have with T- Mobile, would cost about $20 more a month. When we get in isolated places like in the Outer Banks, we can't get service, other wise we are good. Joe heard AT&T might buy out T-Mobile, which might be good, if they would grandfathered in our present plan.

"The Lord is my Shepard, I shall not want. He maketh me lie down in green pastures. He leadeth me beside the still waters". This is what this place makes me think of!

You can see rain off to the north in this picture.

We have  been enjoying weather in the mid 70's.
More waterfront to the south. The park was fairly empty. Prime season is just around the corner though.

Looking again right from our site.
