| We woke up and drove five miles to Pirateland Campground after spending the night at Walmart, in Myrtle Beach, SC. We stayed at this park 2 years ago. Myrtle Beach was the first coast town we arrived at after leaving Iowa in Oct. 2008. |

| We didn't take an ocean front sites, because they are $ 2.00 extra a day. We did get a beach site, which is also $2.00 extra. We are located right next to the ocean front site. This is a huge park with around 1500 sites. You can see our ocean entrance next to the golf carts. |

| The beach is less than a minute walk from our front door. |

| Dogs are allowed on the beach up to May 15 and after Sept. 15th. |

| We are enjoying high 70's instead of high 80's. We are parked between the two RV's in this picture. |

| Joe's bright idea, so we can wash our feet after several times on the beach each day. |

| We celebrated our little girl's 10th birthday on May 2. In dog years she is 70! I sang to her, " Happy Birthday", as she just looked at me strangely! She really enjoyed her birthday treat and her walk on the beach. |

| After dinner we went out to our back yard for a walk. |

| We can see up town where all the action is in Myrtle Beach. We prefer the peaceful sounds of God. |

| Then we sat for awhile as the waves lapped at our feet at high tide. |
 |
| We fall asleep listening to the waves crashing on shore! |
