Newport, OR Farmers Market

The Farmers Market in Newport, OR is held every Saturday from May 12 to October 27. It is located next to the City Hall off of Hwy. 101 and Angle St. The Farmers Market is from 9am to 1pm.

Newport had a very good Farmers Market. There was the usual local vegetables, some organic and some not.

After we got our vegetables, I stopped to check out this vendor's smoothie list.

One of the vendors would put the ingredients into the blender and then she hopped on the bike to power the blender.



Joe spotted a vendor making crepes.

We decided to have crepes for lunch.

I got the Tomato, Basil, and Mozz. with the buckwheat batter.

Joe had the egg, spinach and cheese crepe.

Mine was delicious and I would order it again.

Joe didn't enjoy his. He said it was just OK, and wouldn't buy it again for $6.00. He said he might buy it again at $3.00. That's our Joe, it's all about the money.

On the way home Joe bought this dungeness crab at a grocery store. The store cleaned it for him. All he needed to do was to warm it up.

We are now in Forks, WA. We will be here for another 5days. Happy Trails!
