The Strip In Branson, MO.

                                             Friday 7/5/2013

We are currently in Cedar Rapids, IA., where we use to live before we started our adventures. We are doing the annual Dr. appointments, and seeing our mom's. Of course I am behind in our blog adventures. I will continue where I left off, in Branson.
The day we drove from Branson West to the strip in Branson,  we came over a hill and around a curve, to completely stop cars on Hwy. 76. There had been a fender bender, but this was a common traffic jam at this particular spot on the weekends.

Once on the strip, the traffic turned to a snails pace, and a few times, a complete stop for about 10 minutes. This blue monkey entertained us with his dance moves, trying to entices customers into the restaurant.

On the strip, you will find go cart tracts;

Ribley's Believe or Not;

and King Kong in Hollywood.

We were headed to Tanger Outlet, which is just smack dab on the center of  the strip.

Joe and I had been needing some new waking shoes, so this was a good  place to come.

After spending most of the afternoon tromping in and out of most of the stores, we made our purchases, and headed back home. We drove past the Titanic;

past a bungee swing;

water slide parks, minature golf parks, restaurants, and many many show buildings.

Near Shepherd of the Hill, you can find the Inspiration Tower/ Vigilante Extreme ZipRider.

We never made it to the top of the tower,

nor attempted the Zip Rider.

The small one I went on when we were in the NE was enough for me. This one looked way to high and scary for me!
