March 2015 Continues
As we got into mid March our weather turned to more and more warmer days, so we got to include biking to our added list of things to do. |
I love this part of the trail with all it's mossy oaks. |
Up the road a bit we came to a place where alligators are normally seen on warm days. |
Do you see the alligator sunning himself on the other bank side? |
Alabama is relatively flat, but on this part of the bike trail we climbed a little elevation to get a view over the State Park wilderness. |
I zoomed in to give you a view of our campground in the Gulf Shores State Park Campground off in the distance. |
Further down the trail we came upon this turtle. He was about a foot in diameter, and had an alligator tail. |
A few days later we had another appointment for another stand alone cottage to view. |
It had a very large deck with a view of the ocean down and across the street. |
This was a very cute cottage with an open floor plan. They had furniture cover, for the four paw family members. |
Joe's only complaint was it's tiny stove and no counter space on one side of it. |
On yet another day we saw 4 condo's for sale in the Emeralds Green Community. This condo was a 2 bedroom/2 bath. |
Emerald Greens sit off Hwy 159 about 4 miles from the ocean. |
This community is really nice with a large outdoor pool, and large fitness center. |
This unit was for sale furnished with a price of $159000. |
If we were ready to buy, this would be tempting, but we want to rent for a few years and try out different settings. |
This unit really had a nice placement of furniture for entertaining family and friends. |
One of the 2 bathrooms. |
Front bedroom had queen bed and the master had a king. |
In another 2 bedroom/2 bath condo for sale at Emerald Greens, this unit had a view of the golf course that is free if you own or rent here. |
I didn't get a good picture of the previous kitchen , so I got one in this unit. |
