On our side of the lake, our water gets deep pretty fast, so the docks don't have to be too long. Joe says that is good, because it cost $20 per section to be put in and out per season. I think we have 7 to 8 sections out this year. Two sections are still on the bank.
Later I asked Joe if he had heard from any of the bee keepers he had called. He said no, and it was frustrating him that no one was calling him back. I asked if he had seen all the bees on the chimney, and he said yes, and since no one called him back he had sprayed them. I said, "You did what? How could you do that when you know they are honey bees, and they are important to the production of our food". I will let Joe tell his response when he proof reads this blog. This is Joe, the reason I killed all the bees, is that I saw an opportunity to kill a lot of bees that might have posed a problem to our living in a big way at one time, I'm sorry but I'm not a bee lover, wasp or honey bee. |
Hi Guys, I love Love LOVE to see Mallery outside enjoying all the wonders of a summer day! I get a big smile when I see her roll in the the green grass of her own yard. How precious and I'm so thankful she is still here to enjoy Gods bounty of wonderment. You all traveled coast to coast for many years having fun seeing the USA and hoping to also find the lake view home of your dreams. You did it, and I want to say "Welcome Home" . Have a fun summer. Love Leslie +_+
ReplyDeleteHi Leslie, I thank God for letting us still have Mallery with us. We are to be getting our fence in, in the next 3 weeks or so, so I am hoping she can enjoy the freedom of her yard soon, Her breathing problems seems to be much better these days, but her eye sight has got much worse. I have been teaching her when she needs to step down or up until she gets the lay of the land. She has been eating real good, but not gaining any weight to speak of. Each day seemed to be different for her, with changing symptoms getting worse or better. We just keep plugging along, knowing that each day is a gift from God, and we are so blessed to have each and every day no matter what it brings.
