Old Town San Diego

8/22/2010

We decided to check out a part of the city called Old Town. It is an outdoor mall in the old historical area of town with restaurants and gift shops inside the restored buildings.Diane checking out the flowers. Diane in front of an old dentist office. An old restored building. There was a large stage coach museum that was free to walk through. And of course there were flowers. The bush the previous pictured flowers were on. An interesting cactus. Top half of cactus. The cactus in full picture. The bottom half of the cactus. An interesting shop with gardening items and lawn decorations. Like this trellis. I made one of these for my mom, but not quite this detailed. Diane just loves all the plants and flowers found in this area. A nice restaurant with an outside eating area that we ate ate. Diane offered to buy us dinner at a Mexican restaurant in Old Town. The name of the place is Barra Barra. We ordered Margaritas and chips. Malley, patiently waiting in her stroller next to us. Part of the garden decorations in our courtyard setting restaurant. We ordered a combo plate to share, 1 enchilada, 1tamale,1 flat bread taco. Like usual, we had a dogie bag of leftovers. And flowers for desert. We enjoyed our dinner and said goodbye to Old Town.
