Another Gulf Shores Beach Sunset Walk

This is only the third time were have found time to walk on the beach while we have been here.

We brought Mallery this time. Dogs are not allowed on the beach, but we have seen other people walking their dogs on the beach, especial if you are a long distance from the public beaches.

I don't know the name of this condo, but it looks like a really neat one.

We are approaching Crystal Shores, and Crystal Shores West condominiums that I just blogged about in my last two post.

The two tall condominiums in this picture is Crystal Shores first, than Crystal Shores West.

Looking back as we past both Crystal Shores and Crystal Shores West.

We have had fairly nice weather so far this year, except for a few rainy days.

The night time temperatures have ranged from 39 to 65 degrees.

The day time temperatures have ranged from 52 to 78 degrees while we have been here.

As we continued to walk, we saw a group out on the beach for the sunset.

Like most coastal town, Gulf Shores is supported by tourism.

January is the coldest month with temperatures of an average low of 40 degrees and an average high of  60.

Ocean fishing, beaches, and golf are the three major draws to Gulf Shores, AL.

Gulf Shores is the home of two top rated golf resorts in Alabama- Craft Farms and Kiva Dunes. A Tanger Outlet is also located in Foley just a few miles outside of Gulf Shores.

Gulf Shores also has a zoo, water park, and a couple of miniature golf courses.

The zoo has plans to enlarge at a new location in a year, further north on Hwy. 59

A new indoor water park is planning to open up next year.

We turned around and headed back. We had to walk a little bit in the dark before we reached are starting point to our car.
