Tiffany our daughter (age 28), and Lennox.
I moved to Tiffany and Blake's home. Tiffany made up the guest room and made me feel cozy.
I gave Lennox a bath.He loved splashing the water with his hands.

And kicked his feet as fast as he could.
The bathroom floor and walls had to be dried off, as well as my glasses after bath time. I had a great laugh watching him.

Our blessing 13 years ago, celabrating her 13th Birthday, and wearing her brother's hat.

Trip to Alabama

12/19/09

Joe drove me to Phoenix on the 17th to fly out to Gulf Shores to see our girls and our nana girl and nana babies. Joe decided he didn't want to leave is own space environment for 3 weeks, so he decided to stay in Arizona for CHRISTmas and make new friends. We were needing some time apart anyway as being in such close quarters for over a year and being together 24/7, was starting to reach it's boiling point.
I am staying at Alisha's home for the first week, than Hayleah is flying to her dad's in Minneapolis, Minn. after Christmas. The 2nd week I will stay at Tiffany's home.

Maggie May. She is blind now and bump into things, but still my favorite nana dog! I bought her this new bed.
My daughter Alisha, my nana girl Hayleah in her school uniform, and Noah. They belong to Maggie May.
Alisha and Hayleah having a stare down. Hayleah won.
Noah in his cool dude look. Thanks Hayleah for giving up your bed and sleeping on the couch. What a sweet nana girl.
My other nana baby Lennox, Tiffany's baby.
Alisha, my 32 year old daughter. Jamie her boyfriend. Noah, Alisha and Jamie baby, and Hayleah, Alisha daughter. They are standing outside of Alisha's apartment and pond in front of her apartment.
Jamie holding being a he man.

Hayleah and Noah at their home.

My beautiful nana girl, Hayleah.
Noah out on a walk.

Casa Grande, AZ.

12/09/09

We decided to drive to Casa Grande this evening, which is about
45 to 60 minutes north. This is a first, because normally Joe likes to be relaxing at five. Joe said he wanted to drive because he felt the Wal-Mart in Casa Grande would probably be safer than in Tucson. We drove about 20 minutes in the dark, another 1st. I think Joe is feeling more comfortable driving the RV.
Leaving Tucson. I think these are the Lemon Mountains, but don't know for sure. We were told we should go up in them, but we never made it. When we came back to Tucson, we were going to stay at a state campground near them, but the mountains were covered in snow, so we decided we've had 50 years or more of snow and would skip it this year. Plus Joe is mountained out!

12/10/09

The next day we drove a few miles to our next neighborhood for a month. Because I have been slacking on my job, I forgot to take pictures of our new park as we drove in and set up. The park we are staying at is the Sundance 1 RV Resort. Here are pictures I took the next few days after we arrived.
Entrance of our new stomping grounds.
A 55+ community. Yes we are 55+ and proud of it.
Looking back at the park gates after we enter. View as we entered the park. Park office and activity rooms. Close up of office. Activity room, exercise room, craft room. Inside and outside heated pool. Inside pool and courtyard. Joe waiting for me to quit taking pictures after he filled a gallon jug of purified water for 25 cents. This is something new for us, we have never seen a park with reverse osmosis, filtered drinking water available from a machine, you provide your gallon container and put your quarter in and out comes the water. Much cheaper than buying bottled water, which we have done in the past when we stay at a park that has "funny" tasting water. Stain glass room and ceramic room. The park has 700 lots. Our new spot lot 425. Mallery says she likes it here. Paved interior roads Bark, bark which means yahoo!

San Xavier del Bac

12/9/09

After we left the Titan Missile Museum which is located in Green Valley, we headed back north to Tucson. On the way we stopped at another mission just south of Tucson. San Xavier del Bac Mission. An active Franciscan mission serving the Tohono O'odham Indians. This mission was started in 1692, and completed in 1797. This mission is considered the finest example of Spanish colonial architecture in the United States. A side room where people light candles for themselves and others. Lighted candles were every where. Choir balcony above the door. Beautiful ceiling. Another small building in an outside courtyard. Filled with statues and more candles. A hallway joining another hallway in one of the buildings. An old gate to a narrow stair case going up to somewhere? A model of the mission.
Another courtyard with many lite candles. Another courtyard in the back of the mission. This mission is open to the public and free. Well worth a stop to see.
