Charleston Peak RV Resort, Pahrump, Nevada

Thursday 3/22/2012
The next day the  RV Super Store told us that someone would do our  oil change at 1:00 PM. While they were servicing our coach, we went to our next ROD campground and checked in. We drove around and picked out which site we wanted. Then we headed to Wal-Mart for groceries. After a couple of hours we picked up our Nest and went out of our way to get some gas at a station that was next to Wal-Mart.

Joe filled our Nest's gas tank because he like this price much better than the day before.

I sat in the Honda waiting for Joe to filled the Nest's tank. It takes a long time to fill 150 gallon of fuel.

Then I followed him to Charleston Peak RV Resort to set up. Charleston Peak RV Resort has 189 sites.

We chose a site that was at the end of the park with no RVs on either side, hoping no one would move in next to us. It is nice to have some space sometimes.

Our new address for two weeks is 219 Cabernet St., Charleston RV Resort, Pahrump, NV. 89048. We have an extra bed. If anyone wants to visit and stay a week, give us a call or stop on by.

Mallery loves our new neighborhood. At 4:00PM when we walk her around the park, she just takes off walking on her paved streets.

There are two ROD Resorts in Pahrump. The other one is in the downtown area of Pahrump, sitting behind Terrible's Casino.

We chose this park because it is out on the edge of town and quieter. This is our view from our patio. We hope no one moves in front of us either. The snow capped mountain is Charleston Peak of the Spring Mountains.

View out our front window.

View out the coach window.

View straight out our dinner table window.

My view behind the Nest from my dinner chair.

Joe's view from his dinner chair.

The RV Resort has a Helicopter Landing area. What for ? Your guess is as good as ours at this point. We will try to find out during our 2 week stay.

It also has a RV washing station. We have never seen this before either in a park. Joe said it was nice, but he will pay the $5 and just clean the Nest at our site. He said it is just too much work to have to unhook, and put everything away to move and wash the bus.

This place also has a Winery, but we have not been to see it yet.

Seeds being blown from the pods from plants on the resort property. Our temps have been in the 70's. Perfect weather to us!
