Our drive to Fredericksburg , Texas was a short hour drive NW from Canyon Lake on Hwy. 290.
Fredricksburg has a population of 10,530 people, and was established in 1846. The town is also notable as the home of Texas German, a dialect spoken by the first generations of German settlers who initially refused to learn English.
We are presently staying at the Fredericksburg RV Park .
Joe said we splurged and are paying $34 a day to stay here. He is not impressed, no concrete pads and the patios in his opinion are a joke.
Our present address is # 93 Allegro Alley.
The sites are pull through and are very long. Look at all the space we have in front of the RV.
The sites are very fine gravel.
Just up from our site is a small pond and a fish pond.
As soon as we walked up to the fish pond, the fish came swimming up to us. When didn't have any food, so we couldn't feed them.
We liked these signs some other RVer had out on his patio!
