Oak Forest RV Park, Austin, Texas

                                        Tuesday 4/16/2013

Our drive from Fredericksburg  to Austin, TX was a fairly short drive, at 75 miles due east.

Our route took us through the southern park of Austin to the east  side of the downtown.

We picked out Oak Forest RV Park in Austin, because it is a Passport America resort. With our Passport America membership we could stay at the park for $22 a day for 3 days, Sunday Through Thursday.

View as we drove down the side street to the park.

Looking good so far!

We were escorted to our site, a pull through that was paved.

The inroads are paved also. Mallery is a happy camper. She hates gravel roads, because she is such a princess!

The pool area was very nice, but the pool is very small. Not a big deal to us, because we never use them anyway!

Nice shuffle board court.

Patio and grilling area next to the laundry room and exercise room.  We stayed here for 3 days. I wanted to stay longer but, the park didn't have any open sites for the weekend. There was some race going on in Austin, causing all the parks in the city to be full. This resort was an easy 20 minute drive to downtown Austin. I would highly recommend the park.
