Branson's Lake Queen, Branson, MO.

                                       Saturday 7/6/13

While still in Branson, MO. we took another trip on the strip on the way to Branson Landing.  There are a few RV campgrounds on or very near the strip. If we were going to come back to Branson, I would see about staying at the Pea Patch RV Park that is located directly behind Ruby Tuesday on the strip.

Along the strip we saw this strange ride. At least we think it was a ride? The traffic on the strip was really congested, so we found our map of Branson, and dropped down to the yellow route which took us south of the city.

Across the street from Branson Landing there is the Branson Scenic Railroad. Unfortunately we never had time to find out anymore about it.

We were going to the landing, because we had plans to take the Branson's Lake Queen that day.

If you want to take a dinner cruise, you will take the Landing Princess, which cost $39.95 plus tax per adult for a 2 hour cruise.

Our afternoon cruise cost $22.20 plus tax per adult.

The cruise took us west on Lake Taneycomo.

This is one of the nicest homes along our cruise.

Most of the homes sat at the top of the bluffs.

Along the way our captain pointed out this bald eagle.

This home had a stairway down to the lake for their daily exercise plan.

We sat on the top balcony of the Branson's Lake Queen, and shared a table with this sweet couple who had just got engaged the night before. He owns all the Donut Palaces which are located mostly in the south.

Our cruise was also a 2 hour cruise, ending in front of Branson Landing.

The cruise boat sat out front of the Branson Landing for a few minutes, until the "on the hour" fountain show started. I couldn't catch it with my slow camera, but there was fire that came out of the smoke stacks, on certain beats of the music that was played for the show.

We received a free popsicle when we got off the boat. We decided it was not worth the calories, so we pitched them. in a trash can as we walked back to our car. We had a beautiful day for the cruise and enjoyed the ride.
