After dinner we decided to check out our new neighborhood. This is a view across the street from us. |
And down the street from us.Party people! |
We walked down the street and around the pond. We are the second RV on the right side of the pond. |
Close up. |
You can see the slide into the pool above the fountain. |
We walked on the opposite side of the pond from where we are located. Most of the homes around the pond are mobile homes. |
Most of the summer RV homes are impeccable. |
Most are decorated as a fun and happy place. |
As we walked on the other side of the pond, the sidewalk lead us to more of a canal area. |
There are 680 sites in this park. |
Fun bird on a deck. |
Looking across the canal. |
Farther up the sidewalk is a bridge |
The bridge allows the home owners to get to the pool, office, hamburger and ice cream joint and the activity center easier. |
Looking up from the bridge. Another fountain as the canal widens a bit. |
Joe and I think this park has a lot of charm. |
I first saw something like this from our Nest. |
Joe had gone out and told me it was a big fish. |
On the other side of the pond, there were many of these big fish. Later we were told they were carp. |
We walked to the top of the pond. |
At the top of the pond there is another area where new RVs are setting up permanent summer homes. |
Most of the RV homes have signs telling where they are from. All the ones we saw were from North Carolina. |
At the end of this section, there is a boat storage area. |
Most of the park is like this. A fifth wheel, with a added screen in porch, and, or a deck, |
and a added storage shed. Hope you enjoyed our walked around Goose Creek RV Resort. |
