Today we were suppose to leave Hayward, WI., but we were unable to get reservation in South Dakota, so we decided to stay one more week at the Sand Lake Pines Resort. We did have to move to a different spot, as someone else has reserved our present spot lot # 19.
Lot #19 - Way at the back of campground. Very tight spot to get into, between the trees. Very quite spot.
But not much of a view. The lake is way down there.
We moved to Lot #28.
Bigger spot to get into.
Up front in park. Great view, but noisy from traffic from road.
We do have the only cement sidewalk lined with brushes and hosta's to our front door.
The people taking our spot on lot #19 wanted a fire ring. Our new lot #28 does not have a fire ring or picnic table. Boo ho, oh so sad. We never use a picnic table( we always eat inside) and have made a fire one time in 9 months. This is a good spot to put us non campers. We prefer the views.
