We are very impressed with this park. Most of the park has mobile homes with an area for RV's. On our walk around the park I took these pictures.
The park has 715 lots. A fountain in the middle of the park. No matter what the age is of the mobile home, they are all well kept and the park is as neat as a pin. A great place to retire to, as a snowbird or as many do, live here year round. This home has rocks spray painted green. I had to laugh, because I had just received an email about senior parks with rocks painted green. I had never seen that before until we got here. The park has two pools. Lots of very large saguaro cactus. Over 600 palm trees
We like the place so much that we went to the front desk and registered to stay for a week instead of 3 days. The park allows passport members to stay at half price for a week, but we wanted to check out the place before we decided to stay for a week. Joe put out the awnings and chairs for the week.
Joe also did some cleaning on the outside of our Nest. I caught him taking a siesta after all his hard work! On our evening walk around the park. I feel like I am in the Bahama's instead of AZ. Pretty as a picture!Mountains in the distance. Close up. Highs today was 82 degrees. Great internet connection and even though we don' t have cable here we get many channels that we have not had for a long time. ( If you want cable you have to call the cable company and have them hook you up- I guess for long term residents) They even let you wash your RV here. We have not found any other park let us do that since in Alabama last winter,
Diane, thanks for the budget summary. Just a little curious about how many miles you drove the RV during the year? Our travel expenses are running $76 per day and $0.70 per mile, but we are a much smaller 25' unit.
