We left Bandon on June 27th on Hwy. 101 going north. In North Bend we crossed the Coos Bay. |
As we cross the bridge we saw sand dunes to the north of the bridge. |
Conde McCullough Memorial Bridge. |
As we got closer to Florence, OR. we drove past several lakes. |
Woahink Lake |
Lakeshore RV Park in Florence, OR. is a Passport America member and cost us $15 a night. |
It is a mobile home park with about 7 sites available for us gypsies in the middle of the park. |
It is located right off Hwy. 101, making it a real gas saver. We had site D for Diane! |
After setting up we checked out the neighborhood. |
The park sits above Woahink Lake. |
Woahink Lake is 820 acres and is the deepest of several lakes dammed by sand dunes along the coast of Oregon. The maximum depth is 74 feet. |
While on our walk around the very small park, we met a man who also had a Yorkie. Joe decided to have me take a picture of the two of them together. |
The male Yorkie was OK with it, but Mallery wasn't too happy. |
Mallery said, " Euw, get him away from me"! |
We stayed at this park for 4 nights. |
we pulled into Harbor Visa RV Park in Florence yesterday... not sure where your park is but we are just north of town...
